Manufacture Supply Agreements
ABOUT THIS COLLECTION
This collection contains two types of manufacturing agreements. One for having goods manufactured using licensed technology. The other for having goods manufactured overseas.
In the first type a company grants a licence to use patented technology to manufacture goods and sell in a specific territory in exchange for royalties. The contract renews automatically. The Licensee pays the cost of sending experts, and other costs of transferring the technology. Royalties are paid on a scale linked to product sold. The licencee agrees to co-operate with the licensor in maintaining and protecting patents and intellectual property rights.
The overseas manufacturing agreement is based on an agreement in which an Australian manufacturer engages an agent to organise manufacture in China. The Australian manufacturer then contracts directly with Chinese manufacturers to produce the product.
