How can I prepare for being sick, or isolated?

If you are in isolation or unwell, you can appoint someone to take care of your affairs for you.  A Power of Attorney will appoint someone to manage your affairs if you are unable. An Enduring Guardian will appoint someone to make medical decisions on your behalf if you become incapacitated.

Nominate someone to take care of your finances if you cannot:

An Enduring Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows someone else to manage your bank accounts finances and other matters to do with money. They are normally very popular with people who travel a lot. At the present time they are a valuable precaution against becoming ill.  An Enduring Power of Attorney can be ordered online and then signed in front of a solicitor or JP.

Nominate someone to make medical decisions for you if you cannot:

An Enduring Guardianship appoints someone to manage your medical decisions if you are unconscious or otherwise unable to make these decisions yourself.

Make a will. Just in case the worst happens.

A Will takes care of your affairs when you die. In a Will, you appoint some one to manage your affairs (the executor) and nominate who you want to inherit your assets when you die (beneficiaries). Consider where you would like your assets to go when you die.

When is the best time to make a Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship and Will?

Powers of Attorney, Enduring Guardianships and Wills can only be made whilst you still healthy and able to make decisions for yourself. Once your health begins to fail, you go into isolation or you die, you will be unable to make a Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship or Will. The time to do it is now, before you need to rely on these documents.

How do I get it done?

You can order your Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship and Will online and it will be delivered to you by email with signing instructions.

Would you like a call to get a Power of Attorney, Enduring Guardianship or Will set up? Just respond to this email with your phone number and we will call you to discuss your needs.
